Back to school is just around the corner (yay!) and I have been starting to make different printable labels that I can use for my kids. The printable featured in this post is a money label that you can fill out and put in a bag or envelope with your kid's money to help prevent it from being lost or stolen.

DIY: Mini Chevron Friendship Bracelet
I went to Walmart yesterday and found some embroidery thread. I immediately knew that I wanted to make friendship bracelets. When I got home I searched the Internet for some inspiration. I came across these super cute, mini chevron bracelets. Here is how you can make your own:
Materials you will need:
- 3 different colours of embroidery thread
- tape measure
- scissors
- tape
Procedure:
- cut 2 strands of each colour about 2 1/2 feet long. You should have 6 strands in total.
- group the like colours together. Place all of the colours in the palm of your hand. You want to be holding them in the middle.
- group the two like colours on each side. You should have 6 separate groups.
- cut the loop at the top of your bracelet in half. - cross the outermost colour on the right side over to the left side. Make sure that it is on the inside.
- now move the outermost colour on the left side over to the inside on the right side.
- repeat the previous 2 steps over and over again always with the colour that is on the outermost side. Make sure you constantly pull all the strings to ensure that the bracelet is nice and tight.
- continue making your bracelet until you have come to your desired length.
- remove the tape and tie the two ends of the bracelet together around your wrist. Cut off any unwanted excess string.
